The School Council has the responsibility to determine the educational policy of the school, oversee grounds and buildings, ensure the moneys coming into the hands of Council are expended properly, and generally ensure the children attending Upper Ferntree Gully Primary School have access to the highest quality educational programs and safe learning environment.
School Council meetings are open and all members of the school community are invited to attend. The meetings are the avenue by which all members of the school community can meet to hear, discuss and formally act on any issues related to the School Council duties and responsibilities. Everyone attending may join in discussions, however only School Councilors can vote on issues.
