At Upper Ferntree Gully Primary School we strongly believe that learning is enhanced when parents and staff work together as partners. In addition to the School Council and the Parent's and Friend's Association (PFA), there are numerous ways in which parents are invited to participate in school activities.

These include:

• Helping in the classroom with various activities, eg reading, maths, etc
• Accompanying classes on excursions and to sporting events
• Assisting in the library with borrowing, book covering, shelving and book repairs
• Assisting and coaching sporting teams
• Assisting with the Junior School Perceptual Motor Program (PMP)
• Sharing skills and expertise with selected classes
• Assisting on camps
• Attending working bees
• Participating in the varied lunchtime clubs.

Your involvement is greatly appreciated and valued. We encourage you to be involved with our happy and active school community. Parent helpers MUST have a valid Working with Children's Check and completed our Volunteer Agreement Form.
